Remarks by Spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in Estonia on the China-Related Contents in the Annual Review 2023-2024 of Internal Security Service

The China-related contents in the Annual Review 2023-2024 released by Internal Security Service on April 12, are full of cold war mentality and ideological prejudice, which mislead the public, disturb cooperation between China and Estonia, and are extremelyirresponsible. We firmly oppose that.

China unswervingly follows path of peaceful development and is committed to developing relations with other countries under the principles such as mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit as well as non-interference into each others’ internal affairs. China's cooperation with countries all over the world is overwhelmingly welcomed by their people. China will not and has no need to threaten any country.

China is committed to promoting friendly cooperation with Estonia, which we firmly believe serves the common interests of both countries. We hope that Estonia will be with us in the same direction, make efforts to promote mutual trust between our two countries, enhance the friendly sentiments between our two peoples, strengthen bilateral cooperation, and pursue mutual benefit and win-win results.
