On December 8, 2023, Ambassador Guo Xiaomei delivered a lecture titled Foreign Policy of China and the Belt and Road Initiative at Tallinn University.

Amb. Guo vividly shared the history and development story of China with her personal experiences. She highlighted China’s independent foreign policy of peace, explained its historical and cultural origins, and made a brief introduction on the principles and objectives of the Belt and Road Initiative. 

During the Q&A session, Amb. Guo responded questions on China-US, China-EU, and China-Estonia relations as well as other interested issues.

The audience expressed their willingness to have more engagement with the Chinese Embassy to learn more about China.
