Ambassador Guo Xiaomei presents credentials to Estonian President

On 3 October 2023, H.E. Ms. Guo Xiaomei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, presented her credentials to H.E. Mr. Alar Karis, President of the Republic of Estonia. The two sides had friendly conversation on bilateral relations and international affairs.

Ambassador Guo first conveyed warm greetings from H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China. The Ambassador said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Estonia 32 years ago, the bilateral relations have generally remained stable. Cooperation is in the interests of both sides. She is confident that the good cooperation between China and Estonia will continue to develop.

President Karis welcomed Ambassador Guo to take her new post and asked the Ambassador to convey his best wishes and sincere regards to President Xi Jinping. The President said that Estonia attaches importance to the development of relations and practical cooperation between two countries.

When arriving at the Presidential Residence, Ambassador Guo, accompanied by the Chief of State Protocol Mr. Urmas Eigla, inspected the guard of honor.

Ambassador Guo Xiaomei arrived in Estonia on 11 September 2023.
