Schedule for Chinese Lunar New Year 2023 Celebration Events in Tallinn

The Chinese Lunar New Year falls on 22 January 2023. In celebration of the Chinese New Year (Year of the Rabbit), the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Estonia along with the Beijing city government, Rotermann City and Mustamäe District Administration of Tallinn will co-organize “Happy Chinese New Year ” Event on 22 January and 27 January 2023 respectively. All the friends are warmly welcome to participate to celebrate together.

1. Happy Chinese New Year to be held in Rotermanni Kvartali

 Time: 16:00, 22 January 2023 (Sunday)

  Venue: Rotermanni Kvartali,Rotermanni 8,Tallinn

  Event: Dragon and lion dance, Kung Fu show, dance, drum music, flame show and large rabbit sculpture exhibition. Chargé d'Affaires ad Interim Mr. Ma Taotao and the organizer Urmas Sõõrumaa will deliver New Year's speeches and greetings.

2. Happy Chinese New Year to be held in Kaja Cultural Centre, Mustamäe

 Time: 17:00, 27 January 2023 (Friday)

  Venue: Kaja Cultural Centre, Mustamäe ,Tallinn

  Event:Calligraphy and tea art demonstrations, martial arts and Tai Chi performances, the opening ceremony of the "Beijing Inbound Tour" photo exhibition and the screening of the Spring Festival Gala for the Year of the Rabbit. Chargé d'Affaires ad Interim Mr. Ma Taotao and Mr. Lauri Laats, Head of Mustamäe District Administration will deliver opening speeches.
