In order to further promote people-to-people exchanges, China has decided to implement a visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay on a trial basis from  00:00, 1 June 2025 to 24:00, 31 May 2026 (Beijing Time UTC+8). 

Ordinary passport holders of the above-mentioned countries can be exempted from visa to enterChinaand stay for no more than 30 days for business, tourism, family/friends visit, exchange and transit purposes. 

Those who do not meet the visa-free conditions mentioned above still need to apply for a visa before enteringChina.
