“China Online Visa Processing System” will be officially launched on March 31, 2025.  As of 6 April 2025, all applicants are requested to submit applications and upload application materials via the upgraded “China Online Visa Processing System”. With the updated system, while applying for Chinese visa through https://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA/, applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out the form, uploading application materials and tracking visa processing progress on line.

Applicants who have already submitted application forms before  31 March 2025 through the current “China Online Visa Application System” may either submit the application in person with materials in the Consular Office of the Chinese Embassy or utilize the upgraded system for online processing.   

Please note that the Chinese Embassy only accept application in Chinese or English.
