On March 12, the Chinese Embassy in Estonia was invited to participate in the “Embassy Month Haabersti 2026” and held a cultural exchange event at Mustjõe Gümnaasium in the Haabersti District of Tallinn. The Mayor of Haabersti District Mr. Oleg Siljanov and Ambassador Guo Xiaomei attended the event, together with teachers and students from the school and young diplomats from the Embassy.
Students welcomed the Chinese guests with presentations on China and a choral performance of the Chinese song “Jasmine Flower.”

Ambassador Guo delivered a keynote speech entitled “What Makes China China,” introducing China’s unique features from the perspectives of history, population, culture, economy, and political system, and engaged in interactive exchanges with the participants.

The event was full of warm atmosphere. Participants expressed the hope to have more opportunities of such exchanges and learn more about China.
