Estonia is located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea and has a beautiful natural environment. Its capital, Tallinn, owns the best-preserved medieval ancient town in Northern Europe and is named one of the cities with the best air quality in the world by the World Health Organization. Since its restoration of independence in 1991,Estonia has been committed to digital development and maintains advantage in digital economy. It became the first country in the world to implement e-voting.

China is among the first countries to recognize Estonia's restoration of independence. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1991, China-Estonia relations have generally maintained stable development, and the friendship between the two peoples has continued to deepen. The world today is undergoing major changes unseen in a century, promoting the friendly development of China-Estonia relations is in the common interests of both countries and will also benefit the two peoples.

The Chinese Embassy in Estonia will continue to take promotion of the all-round development of China-Estonia relations as its duty, and I am willing to work with people from both countries to promote the development of our bilateral relations.
