On November 11, 2024, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met with visiting Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jonatan Vseviov.

Deng Li said that China values its relations with Estonia, regards Estonia as a cooperative partner, and is ready to continue to consolidate political mutual trust and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields based on the principles of mutual respect and equality, so as to promote the sound and steady development of China-Estonia and China-Europe relations.

Jonatan Vseviov said that Estonia firmly pursues the one-China policy, attaches importance to carrying out dialogue and communication with China, expanding practical cooperation, strengthening coordination in international and multilateral affairs, and making positive efforts to promote world peace and development.

The two sides also had an exchange of views on international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.
