The family day with the theme of "Dragon and Panda" was held at Tartu Toy Museum during the Chinese Week in Tartu on 23 April. More than 50 families participated in the event to have a glimpse of Chinese traditional culture. The dolls in traditional Chinese clothes showed different traditions among different ethnic groups in China. The hand-made panda mask and dragon puppet were popular among children. Traditional Chinese games like shuttlecock kicking and diabolo got parents involved to enjoy the family day. Chinese calligraphy and picking up soybeans with chopsticks were quite an experience for many of the participants.

At the invitation of the Toy Museum, the women's club of the Chinese Embassy in Estonia with the Ambassador's wife Jiang Li as the Chairperson joined the family day. Members of the club demonstrated some of the traditional games and had a great time with the families participating the event.
