On December 20th, the Chinese Embassy in Estonia held a cultural exchange event at Sillamäe Vanalinna Kool. The embassy presented Chinese cultural books to the school,  conducted a dumpling cooking class. Mr. Tonis Karberg, the mayor of Silamae attended the event. 

Ambassador Guo Xiaomei demonstrated to the teachers and students skills of making dumplings and introduced the Chinese dumpling culture. The head of teachers of the school share her experiences of visiting China. Students delighted the guests from China by beautiful dances from the “Ball of Literary Heroes” program. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. 

All participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn Chinese traditional culture and expressed their hope to promote better mutual understanding of each others’ culture.
