On Novmber 19, Ambassador Guo Xiaomei visited Kohtla-Järve and met with the Mayor Mr. Henri Kaselo. Mayor Kaselo welcomed Amb. Guo and provided a detailed introduction to economic, social, educational, cultural, and other aspects of Kohtla-Järve and its future development plans. Amb. Guo applauded Kohtla-Järve in terms of its strong economic competitiveness and expressed her willingness to promote cooperation in various fields in the future.

An exchange event on the theme of “Impression on China” was held at the Tammiku Basic School. In her greeting speech, Amb. Guo highlighted the rich history of Chinese culture and expressed her welcome to young Estonians to explore the charm of China and its culture by themselves. Young diplomats from the Chinese Embassy gave lively introduction to China's economy, traditional culture, modern life, higher education, and China-Estonia friendly cooperation.

Amb. Guo also visited the Ida-Viru Central Hospital, the Wiru Sport Center and the Shroma Metal Construction Company.
