On 13 September, the Chinese Embassy in Estonia held a Mid-Autumn Food Workshop. The mayor of Silamae Mr. Tonis Karberg and more than 50 guests from charity organisations, primary and secondary school students and cultural workers experienced making mooncakes, dumplings and tasting tea, enjoyed Guzheng and Kuaiban performances, immersing themselves in traditional Chinese culture and celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival together. H.E. Ambassador Guo Xiaomei made a brief introduction to Chinese culture and expressed her hope that more Estonian people would know China, understand Chinese culture better and become a bridge of friendship between China and Estonia.
