On 22 July 2024, Ambassador Guo Xiaomei delivered a lecture titled "The Role of China in the Changing World". 

Ambassador Guo vividly shared the brilliant achievements of economic and social development of China since the reform and opening up with her personal experience. She took "What are the changes of our world?" as the starting point, introduce the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and the vision of Building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind, refute false narrative of “democracy vs. Autocracy”and“big powers in seeking hegemony”. Amb. Guo responded  questions on China-US, China-EU and China-Estonian relations  as well as other interested issues. 

The audience expressed their willingness to have more engagement with Chinese Embassy to learn more about China.
