From to June 5th to 6th, 2024, Chinese Embassy in Estonia held the Dragon Boat Festival event along with Maria Farm in Pärnu and the Rakvere City Government. The event is also a part of the Estonian Cultural Diversity Year. Artists from Beijing brought wonderful performances. Hundreds of guests from all walks of life attended the event, including Ambassador H.E. Ms Guo Xiaomei, the Vice-Mayor of Rakvere Mr. Laur Kaljuvee, the Mayor of Sillamäe, Mr. Tõnis Kalberg and his wife.

On June 5th, the first event took place at Maria Farm. Artists from China and Estonia performed together on the same stage, performing many popular musical works. Chinese artists also performed Chinese folks music versions of Estonian songs. On June 6th, the second event was held at Rakvere City Hall. Ambassador Guo and the Vice-Mayor of Rakvere Mr. Laur Kaljuvee gave speeches, expressing their willingness to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
